What to Do If You See a Drunk Driver

- Keep a safe distance away.
- Call 911 and report the driver.
- Give the authorities the route the person is taking and their license plate number.
Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) was founded in 1980 by Candy Lightner after a drunk driver killed her daughter, Cari. MADD is dedicated to the prevention of drunk driving. MADD has started a campaign supporting legislation to mandate ignition interlocks for all convicted DUI offenders. An ignition interlock is a device that can be installed on the starting circuit of a vehicle. Once installed, the driver must blow into the device every time they attempt to start the vehicle. I have a question, my neighbor every Friday drives drunk. I do not want to call 911 or the police because they will ask for all my information and I do not want to get involved at all. Is it better to call 911 or the local police? Last night he could not even walk and he was drunk driving 5 people home. I am really worried about them but I don’t want him to find out that I did it. What should I do? How can I leave an anonymous message in 911?
A driver reported me as a drunk driver, I was arrested and a blood test given. I was put through an upsetting or deal, I try ed to explain to the officer the motorist who reported me was probably the same guy who gave me the finger because I would not speed up to suit him on a long two lane country road, he could not pass because of on coming traffic, after 10 miles he got and opening an passed and sped on at 90, as he passed I received several dirty gestures.After a blood test and waiting two months the case was dismissed no alcohol or drugs in my system.Im out $4000.00 and told to bad GOOD CITIZEN. I will probably have to file bankruptcy as this was the straw that broke the camels back. You folks have stoked the law enforcement officers, Weather a dirty trick or real thing you and they will one day give and innocent person a heart attack, maybe you already have?
Can you at least tell me when her case will appear on TV, since you won't respond to my calls or my mail. I'll be going to see an attorney now to see if I can obtain my grandparents rights under Florida state law. I know this isn't entirely your fault I should have known better.
