The plaintiff Akaete and her son Jalen, moved in with Akaete's mother Rosie, a defendant in this case. Shortly after moving in, Rosie claims Akaete was arrested for felony drug possession.

Rosie believes that Akaete continues to abuse drugs. Akaete's sister Mayen, also a defendant, says that the living environment is unsuitable for Jalen and believes his grades have suffered. Mayen wants her nephew to live with her so he can get the support he needs.

We spoke to Akaete to get an update and her response was "Things are fine."

Judge Pirro sent a letter to the litigants' local police department and city council recommending there be an investigation of the liquor store accused of selling alcohol to minors.

I live in Rochester, NY, and anytime a store or bar is caught selling alcohol to juveniles, the operation's liquor license is revoked IMMEDIATELY. It isn't even a question. I'm not completely understanding how a store can still be in operation after three times of known offenses...

Are you serious ?? I'm outraged with this Episode. Someone would actually let this brainless, hooker adopt children?? Are you people kidding me? There is tons of couples out there that are turned down by adoption agencies and scum like this has no problems getting children handed to her... from her obscene language to her quite obvious non education and behavior to " If I had a real job, I would NOT be able to take care of these 5 kids".. I hope someone is going to do something here, or we have a serious problem in this country....
